Our tours are customized to your goals and are suited for all ages and ability levels.

Wheel Wranglers operates under a USFS Caribou-Targhee Teton Basin Ranger District Special Use Permit and is proud to be the only outfitter in Teton Valley offering guided fat bike experiences and trailhead delivery.

Trailhead Fat Bike Rental Delivery (Non-Guided)

  • Maximize your winter adventure time! Let us bring the fat bikes to you. Available at select trailheads in Teton Valley, ID.

    *Shuttle services are not a USFS permitted activity and are unavailable. Trailhead delivery available for Wheel Wranglers rental bikes only.

    • Delivery and pick up of Wheel Wranglers bike rental equipment

    • Bicycle fitting and route planning

    • *Rentals not included.

  • $50/group to Southvalley/Mike Harris or $150/group to Teton Canyon or Darby Canyon. Delivery of Wheel Wranglers bike rentals only.

Winter Fat Bike Tour FAQs

  • No! All tours include a top of the line 2025 Kona Fat Bike.

  • We recommend wearing comfortable, warm winter clothing and snow boots. Dressing in layers is key!

    Be sure to bring:

    • Extra warm layer

    • Thin hat/Buff for wearing under your helmet

    • Waterproof layer

    • Sunglasses

  • We will provide snacks (bars, gels, etc) and lunch during the tour! All riders receive a free Wheel Wranglers MountainFLOW water bottle!

    We recommend bringing at least 2L of water and any snacks that you like. Guides will carry extra water and hot beverages.

    Be sure to eat a healthy and filling breakfast the day of your tour!

  • Yes! All children who are able to ride independently without training wheels are welcome on our tours. Children under the age of 5 are welcome to join a fat bike tour in a trailer with ski attachments. Contact us if you have any questions about bringing your kids on bike tours!

  • Our bikes come standard with high quality, mountain specific flat pedals. We have SPD mountain, SPD-SL, Crankbrothers, and Look Keo pedals in our library we can put on for you. You are welcome to bring your own pedals, too!

  • We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, extra water and snacks. Please bring any medication that you may need while on the tour.

    We provide the bike, helmet, snacks, lunch, extra water and a free water bottle for you to take home.

  • Our tours are designed around your riding goals! Wheel Wranglers is a United States Forest Service Caribou-Targhee National Forest Teton Basin Ranger District Permittee. There is a huge variety of world class groomed trails to explore in the Victor, Driggs, Tetonia and Alta, Wyoming areas.

  • Our winter fat bike tours are designed based on your goals! In general, you can expect about 2-3 hours of pedaling time, with about 3-5 hours total duration.
